Here is another sketch of the young pirate boy walking through the forest which was once his home.  I was working on texture and color on this one.

Look out for pirates!  These nasty guys are certainly not friendly chaps.  As I continue to think of the Woodland Fairies project, characters keep popping in my head!  I think this duo will be quite fun. As you can see I’m messing about with textures and colors.  I don’t want this project to have super saturated lively colors.  The pirates are mean, and their color palette needs to reflect that.

It has been awhile since I have worked on the Woodland Fairies project, so I thought tonight I would show you the captain.  Here is a rough sketch of him meeting the princess.
