New “Paul and Babe” and “Comfort Before The Sacrifice” Postcards

As I mentioned in my previous post I had some postcards made. I think they turned out just great!  The Paul Bunyan card is available at my Etsy store and at various stores (to be announced) here in Bemidji.  The “Comfort Before The Sacrifice” card will be sent out to publishers advertising my illustration services.

Paul & Babe – Postcard

I live in Bemidji, Minnesota, and we are surrounded by Paul and Babe.  All sorts of business’ and organization’s claim his namesake in proud shining smiles. And when visitors come to Bemidji, they want Paul!  Thus, I have created a fine postcard to send to all their friends and family and spread Paul Bunyan cheer.  The cards will be available in various shops around town.  If you want to purchase some in bulk please let me know.

One thing that I really like about this new piece is that it has reminded me of my artistic journey in the last year. I worked on a Paul and Babe about a year ago (posted below).  It is posted here only to show that I’m excited about my artistic improvement.  Hard work really does pay off.

Paul Bunyan

Ok ok…yes I know.  I’m not a fan of Paul Bunyan at all, especially since he is all over the place here in the north western part of Minnesota, and no one knows really anything about him.  And he cuts down trees.  I’m surprised his anti environmental behavior is tolerated. Anywho, These character designs were for a client.  However, they were not used, so I thought you may want to see them.
